Narc Members in Goode Restorations workshop. Note Ford body used as projection stand..one of only 3 of this type known.
NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE .The meeting will be held at the Goode Restorations workshop, 34 New Rd Clare at 8 pm. David Chantell will be the guest speaker, and he will talk about Duncan and Fraser’s Adelaide body building operations and describing Duncan and Fraser body features. Cars will be in the workshop to show these features and to compare to a Ford body. Please bring a chair. Report…David Chantrell gave a very interesting talk on Duncan and Fraser who were the Ford T distributors and body builders in Adelaide. His knowledge of early Fords is outstanding. He was particularly interested in the Ford body used as the projection stand. Until he saw this body he thought only two had survived. He was very quickly able to help Graham Goode with advice on how to overcome body fit problems. David has written a very informative book on Duncan and Fraser and it is full of photographs. Many copies sold on the night. He was also quite impressed with the size of a Huntsman spider he encountered in a public toilet in Clare. see pic.
